Walls are done!

We are excited to share that the walls are up! Praise the Lord! Over the weekend they poured the final support pillars and beams, and added the last few blocks to finish the walls of our school building. Hallelujah! Our next step here is to pour the ceiling. This process is not so familiar to those of us in the US, but it includes building a frame with wood and bamboo, lots of iron, and pouring cement. It’s a process and one that has to be completed all at once. You can’t pour half and then wait to pour the rest.

To continue work on the school building, here is what we need:

Step 5: $15,000 – this is to pour the ceiling, our next goal. (This figure has been updated for current inflation rates.)

Step 6: $12,666 – this is doors and windows, plumbing, electrical, all the finishing work.

Step 7: $2000 – the fence and gate for security.
 

The vocational school starts up soon in our rented building as well! Thanks for all your prayers and blessings to this ministry.

– Praise the Lord the walls are up!
– Pray for the funds to come in so we can pour the ceiling.
– For our plans for the vocational school to continue to move forward, teachers to be recruited, and classrooms to be prepared.
– That God would bring us the students who need to be in our program, and wisdom to teach them well.
